Shimmer is all heart. This sweet, loveable ball of enthusiastic energy is always looking for ways to maximize the fun. She thinks her sister Shine has the BEST ideas. Wherever she goes, her pet monkey Tala is always by her side. Or on her shoulder. Or on her head.
Shine
Shine is sassy, courageous, and confident. Even though Shimmer and Shine are twins, Shine is technically the older sister. But only by one minute! She’s full of words of wisdom and TONS of spunk! She LOVES animals, especially her beloved pet Bengal tiger cub Nahal.
Leah
Meet Leah! She is warm, caring and thrilled to have genies as her best friends. She does whatever it takes to make the people she cares about happy. Her instinct is to be calm and to think things through before she acts, so having Shimmer and Shine as her genies keeps her on her toes!
Tala
Shimmer’s monkey Tala is a sweet and playful goofball. She will climb just about anything, especially if it’s SPARKLY! Her favorite spot to sit is on Shimmer’s shoulders...and head!
Nahal
Nahal is Shine’s Bengal tiger cub! She is silly, feisty, and sometimes a bit of a scaredy-cat. She’s easily startled by sudden movements, sounds, crashes, or bangs. But one thing that always comforts her is belly scratches!
Zeta
Zeta’s goal is to wield more magical power than anyone else in Zahramay Falls. Speeding around on her flying scooter to gather ingredients for her troublemaking potions, Zeta tries to get her greedy hands on Genie Gems and she keeps everyone on their toes!
Nazboo
Meet Nazboo! Zeta’s loyal dragon pet and sidekick travels with her wherever she goes. He doesn’t “speak” in clear sentences, but with his adorable snorts and snickers, he does get his point across.
Princess Samira
Princess Samira is kind, generous, and the most powerful genie in Zahramay Falls. She is a mentor to all the genies in training, awarding Genie Gems to grant new magical powers to those who earn them. She is in charge of ALL magic and wishes.
Roya
Roya is one proud peacock. This majestic bird is Princess Samira’s royal pet. Once a year, Roya molts a single feather that can repair a broken object.
Zac
Zac is Leah’s sweet, quirky, and kindhearted friend and next-door neighbor! He’s bright and goofy, and loves joining Leah to play with Shimmer, Shine and his very own genie, Kaz.
About Shimmer and Shine
Join genie sisters Shimmer and Shine, their human BFF Leah, and the rest of their friends from Zahramay Falls on enchanted adventures! Each day Shimmer and Shine grant Leah up to three wishes, even ones she doesn’t mean to make! Sometimes wishes get messy and can lead to something wild! But by trying again, this magical trio and their friends can overcome all obstacles and even collect special Genie Gems to unlock new powers. Along the way, they’ll need to outwit and out-magic the power-hungry sorceress, Zeta, and her adorable pet dragon, Nazboo.
